Description
My name's Nigel but I also go as Pochre, my pen name and fur name. I live my life dangerously and dedicate every thought that I procure to art and self-expansion, expressed through text and in vague murals outlined with white chalk. I refer to myself, Nigel (and Pochre) as I because both are the same person and neither of them are fictional characters. I am here as myself for I have nothing to hide.
Background
I was born in Portland, Oregon, raised by a single mom and lived most of my life in a cramped basement beneath my grandparent's house. Every memory I have of growing up takes me back to that cold basement my room was in.
I've never met or seen photographs of my biological father. I'm curious. Who is he? What does he look like? Why did he leave us? Whenever I'd ask my mom to describe him she'd tell me he looked a lot like Mr. Clean but I didn't know who that was then so I kept quiet. My mom married Scott, her first husband, when I was eight and a year later we all moved into a house of our own a couple blocks from our old one. It's a nice house and the sketchy neighborhood gives it character.
I have been in and out of treatment centers, experimenting with drugs as early as thirteen. I was fed to the streets after I stole seventy dollars from my mom's purse and then refused to come home. I spent seven arduous months to myself until I was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Personality
I can't describe my own personality. I know I'm stubborn and often times ahead of the group so determined also. I have been described as chaotic and unbelievably energetic. I love taking things apart but often times forget to put them back together. I admit I am a little vandal who leaves a trail of debris in his wake. All I need is somebody to follow behind me and pick up the pieces.
Interests
I enjoy drinking red wine, smoking cheap cigarettes, watching vulgar cartoon, writing and reading poetry, doing my own piercings and tattoos, skateboarding, producing music, walking through the rain at night, meeting new people, listening to skramz and early emotive hardcore, riding bikes through puddles, driving fast, shooting guns in the wilderness, detonating propane tanks, exploring abandoned houses, sleeping in said houses, cooking for people, taking pictures and editing them.
